Arquelio, that’s a simple question with a complicated answer among the military’s six pension systems.

If you’re eligible for a Reserve or National Guard pension then please see this post:
      https://the-military-guide.com/reserve-retirement-calculator/
Your pension multiplier is 2.5%/year, but the calculation is based on your point count instead of your years of service.

If you’re on the most common active-duty legacy High Three pension system, then the multiplier for your years of service is 2.5%/year or 72.5% of your “pay base”. High Three calculates your pay base as the average of your highest 36 months of base pay, and for most servicemembers that average works out to about 97% of your base pay during the month that you retire.

If you’re one of the very few people on the Final Pay pension system (who started your military service before 8 September 1980 and had a significant break in service before returning) then it’s just 72.5% of your base pay in the month you retire. There’s no averaging of your base pay.

If you’re one of the few people who took the REDUX/CSB pension plan which ended in 2017, then it’s
“2.5% times the number of years of service minus 1.0% for each year of service less than 30” or 71.5%. It also uses a pay base of the average of the highest 36 months of your base pay.

If you retire on a disability pension then your pension will be the higher of whichever retirement plan you’re under or the disability rating percentage determined by the Physical Evaluation Board. By federal law, the maximum disability rating percentage is limited to 75%. This disability rating percentage is completely separate from the VA disability rating, and the military’s disability rating uses different criteria.

Finally, today’s Blended Retirement System retirees use a pension multiplier of 2.0%/year or 58% of your High Three pay base. But the BRS started in 2018, so even if you opted in with the maximum 12 years of service then today you’d be barely halfway to a 29-year pension.
